welder/fabricator - $500 Signing bonus

•Complex machine bases, platforms, and specialty trailers •Paper processing equipment (roll splitters, tanks, converts, etc.) •Boom cranes and crane components (marine and land) •Many types of containment vessels •Towers and pedestals of many shapes and sizes •Custom stairs, mezzanines, and walkways (non-ornamental).
| Pay: | $16-$19 Competitive wages based on experience & certifications. |
| Hours: | Full-Time, 40-50 hours per week. |
| Shift: | 2nd Shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. |
| Overtime: | Overtime paid at 1 ½ regular rate after 40 hours worked. |
| Mimimum Requirements: | High School Diploma or equivalent required. Certificate or Diploma beyond High School desired, but not required. Years of experience considered in lieu of certification. |
| Experience & Qualifications: | Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of welding experience with blueprint reading skills. Fluxcore heavy metal fabricating experience preferred. Must have ability to do multi-pass welds and have good layout skills. Position requires basic geometry/math skills, ability to read tape measure, squares, and other measuring tools. Ability to lift, pull and push weights of 50# or more. Pre-employment drug screening required. Must submit to and pass weld test. |
| Job Duties & Responsibilities: | Blueprint reading, heat straightening/manipulation, grinding, handheld flame and plasma cutting, forklift operation, overhead crane rigging and lifting. |
